Green Leaf Platters: A Review – San Francisco

The reason for our recent cross-country excursion was to gather for a friend’s Big Life Event. Part of that involved a night on the town, in a rented space with catered food. Our caterer was Green Leaf Platters and we wish to report that they did an excellent job.

A bountiful selection of beautiful berries

They offer a broad array of catering menus from Breakfast and Brunch, to Seafood, to wait for it, Vegan Items and Vegetable Side Dishes! Woo-hoo! A place that doesn’t have to put meat and dairy in everything. What a relief.

“The woman I worked with, Nancy Montez, Director of Operations, was great with helping me figure out the right dish assortment and quantity based on my guest list. The two guys who delivered the food were very professional and took their time to make sure everything was set up just right. Two thumbs up from the business perspective.”

She also like that on was able to do all of the ordering online, without having to interact with a sales rep trying to do a hard sell. That was nice.

Nina – who did the ordering
Pad Thai Rolls – I was not very concerned if anyone else got one of these

As there was an omni crowd at the event, there was an omni selection of items. Their Pad Thai Rolls, pictured above, were a delicious hit and one of the first things to go. It was also a nice way to eat, what can otherwise be a somewhat messy meal.

Colorful veggie platter

As you can see in the image above, they did a really nice job with the colors and the presentation. I just love those purple potatoes.

Chocolatey-coconut balls

If you’re looking to host a catered event in the Bay Area, Green Leaf Platters should be on your short list.
