Red Curry Vegan Kitchen: A Review – Flagstaff, AZ

It’s not always that easy to find quality eats when you’re on the road. You can only suck it up and choke down a veggie burger from BK just so many times. It’s also not easy to figure out when you’re going to get to eat, when it seems like you have to hit a college town to find some good whole food plant based eats. It takes a lot of coordination with Waze, google searches and an app like Happy Cow.

We had just ten minutes to spare as we rolled through Flagstaff to grab dinner at what seemed like the only place around for hundreds of miles, so it was imperative that we make it there.

We called in the order to a super-friendly young woman that worked us through the fried or steamed tofu options and got it all pulled together for us. I had their pad thai and veggie rolls, which was filling and satisfying. Sweetie had the Mussamun curry, which was reported to be a very good version of this standout. Thank goodness they didn’t feel the need to add pineapple to it. Plus an order of the fresh rolls and a side of the red kidney beans rounded out the meal.

As we were traveling with our favorite quadruped, we scarfed the meal down in the car and hit the road again. If you’re in Flagstaff, check out the Red Curry Vegan Kitchen.
